Palaver Music Center

after-school strings.

Weekly private lessons and group classes for students in kindergarten through 6th grade. Instrument included. September through May.

about the program

After-School Strings provides violin, viola, and cello instruction for students in kindergarten through 6th grade, with plans to expand one grade per year until the program spans K–12. Students receive weekly private lessons, weekly group classes, and an instrument to practice at home. The program runs 30 weeks following the academic calendar (September–May).

Students develop technique, learn to play in ensembles, and build music reading skills. The program culminates in December and May recitals where students share what they've learned with their families.
